The Women’s Walking to Wellness event will provide women impacted by mental health concerns the opportunity to meet like minded women who will support one another to improve connectedness to nature and one another. Each walker will have the chance to experience 12 different trails in the Prince George area while learning different stress management techniques that will improve their mental well being. There will be three different walking levels provided to allow for individuals to proceed at the pace they find healthiest for themselves. Each walking level will have a minimum of two skilled support individuals from various care fields to provide encouragement and reinforce learnings of self-care and stress management.
This event will occur every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm commencing September 14th, 2021 with final graduation on October 26th, 2021.
