Mental Health Week 2025

Canadian Mental Health Association of Northern BC Offers Free Mental Health Training During Mental Health Week 2025

Funded by Northern Health and supported by CMHA BC Division
Theme: Unmasking Mental Health

Prince George, BC – In celebration of Mental Health Week 2025 (May 5–9), the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) of Northern BC is proud to present a week of free mental health training and a Mental Health & Well-being Tradeshow—all designed to empower individuals and organizations to better understand and support mental wellness across northern communities.

With the 2025 national theme “Unmasking Mental Health,” this year’s focus is on getting real about mental health—breaking down stigma, addressing hidden struggles, and encouraging open, honest conversations.

“This theme is especially meaningful in the north, where many people still suffer in silence,” says Elaine Laberge, Executive Director of CMHA of Northern BC. “By unmasking mental health, we can build stronger, more connected communities where no one has to face mental illness alone.”

All events will take place at:

CMHA of Northern BC’s Wellness Connections Centre
2816 Norwood Street, Prince George, BC
